The PFrank ODU Story
Tarah Morris and her little sister at Uncle Al’s

The Story of Perfectly Frank Restaurant

The owner of Perfectly Frank, Tarah Morris, has worked in the restaurant industry since she was 14 years old.

She started waiting tables for Famous Uncle Al on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach, VA while in high school and while attending Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.

In 1999 she purchased Uncle Al’s Greenbrier location.

She would never look back!

Falling in love with running a business of her own, she embraced the grueling hours and hard work. Six years after purchasing her first restaurant, while raising two beautiful sons, she opened Perfectly Frank at ODU with the help of a friend. A year later, Tarah opened her third location, followed by two franchises.
The prospect of growing a hotdog empire was exciting, but something was missing.

That something was the small, hometown feel of a unique place to grab a yummy bite to eat.

Scaling back and reevaluating what was important to her, Tarah let go of every project with the exception of Perfectly Frank at ODU.

Instead of growing a hot dog empire, Tarah has focused on growing her family, now raising three beautiful sons along with her husband, Sean Morris, a Norfolk firefighter.
